Shawnee Brittan Producer/Director

Mr. Brittan founded Shawnee Brittan Productions in 1974 which, as the business scope expanded, became the multifaceted entertainment company, Brittan Entertainment. Mr. Brittan is the recipient of over 37 international production awards and was honored by Queen Elizabeth II of England in 1983.  He has been called  ...The foremost motion picture producer/director in the Southwest.  by Variety magazine. Mr. Brittan personally oversees all production and makes all major production decisions. His is a charter national member of the American Film Institute and worked as a marketing executive with many of the major Hollywood studios. Mr. Brittan holds a B.A. from Oklahoma State University and graduated from the film school at New York University.

Joanna M. Champlin Producer/Executive Producer

Ms. Champlin joined the company as a production executive in 1993.  Ms. Champlin has been producer of such projects as the The Cherokee Strip Adventure, Gods Drum, Sleep My Sons, The Battle of Europe, The Battle of the Pacific and the company’s latest documentary, En Pointe- The Lives and Legacies of Ballet’s Native American’s. Ms. Champlin came to Brittan Entertainment with a background in the petroleum and banking industries. Ms. Champlin attended Hollins University and holds a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma.

Jennifer Thomas Vice President

Ms. Thomas came to Brittan Entertainment from Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter in 1997. Ms. Thomas is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. She handles public relations and marketing with the special focus on production financing, distribution, and new business development. Ms. Thomas is currently completing a degree in accounting at Oklahoma City University.

Drake Bingham, Ph.D. Co-Producer-Writer

Dr. Bingham joined Brittan Entertainment in 1975 and has been involved in all major productions since that time. Dr. Bingham oversees most phases of production from script to screen. Dr. Bingham returned to Academia in the mid-1980s but he continues to be a part of the Brittan Entertainment award winning production team.  Dr. Bingham has a B.A. from Northwestern State College, a M.A. from the University of Oklahoma and a Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University.
